The corridor was dark, moonlight streaming through the skylights in the roof, and Kuroi and Ryoko moved through the shadows with ease. "Are you sure we should me doing this?" Ryo asked softly, "We haven't tackled such a high-risk area before..."

"It's fine~" Kuroi promised, bat wings fluttering, "My dad's birthday's coming up, and he's been eyeing this place for ages but mom doesn't like him thieving."

Ryo snorted, "Of course she doesn't know he taught you the trade."

"Hell~ no," Kuroi grinned, then tilted her head, "Shh, someone's coming." She and Ryo cloaked themselves and moved quietly and quickly to the other side of the hall while a guard rounded the one they were just at. Slowly they made their way around them and down the next path.

It wasn't until they got to the vault where everything went wrong. They were ambushed with lights dispersing their shadows and Kuroi sent streams of fire at the guards after her, but she heard Ryoko cry out, "Let her go!" she snapped, trying to jump after her.

"Go! Just get out of here!" Ryo shouted at the bat girl.

Kuroi knew the story of what happened to her dad and Youko by heart, and felt like history was repeating itself. Only this time, there was no one to save Ryo from certain death like her mom saved Kuronue. The pleading look in Ryo's blue eyes made Kuroi's stomach drop to her feet, and she gritted her teeth before spreading her wings wide and bolted up towards the ceiling, weaving to miss chains and the like trying to catch her. She broke through a window, and flew off.

She would save Ryo. She had to, or she'd never forgive herself like her dad told her Youko didn't. Why he hadn't gone to Kurama was beyond her. He was the King's Adviser, it would be so easy! Yet he was waiting for the right time.

PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptyTue Dec 08, 2015 11:56 pm

Yusuke was gritting his teeth as he stared Koenma down. He knew the toddler-bitch wouldn't back down from his stance. It was pretty obvious that there was a rebellion going on in protest about the human-flesh ban. Right when everything's going smooth, someone fucks it up. Surprisingly it wasn't because of a stupid mistake he made.

Koenma was a little calmer, but anger was still evident over his face. He wasn't about to back down from this. Yusuke needed to take responsibility for it.

"I already told you that this is probably some stupid rebellion that the demons are up against and that I was going to check it out anyway." Yusuke finally backed away, glaring at him. "I don't like being told what to do. I don't need the damn lecture about how to run things!"

"It seems to me that you do, Yusuke," Koenma rubbed his forehead, "Only now is this slave trade coming to light. What were you doing this whole time? Slacking off like usual, lamenting about what you couldn't have? Keiko left /you/ to go overseas to study abroad and marry a human. You won't get her back so focus on work or things like this will happen. We don't even know where to start because there are multiple operations."

Yusuke's teeth gritted. He could hear them grind against each other in his ears. His fists were clenched tightly, his nails biting into his palms, surprisingly yet to draw blood. "I know I'm not the best cookie in the box, but I'm not fucking stupid!" He snapped. "I'm fucking bitter as hell about Keiko that she's gone. Yeah I'm angry, and I'm going to take it out on the person whose running the damn rebellion /and/ slave trade! Have I been doing nothing? FUCK THAT! I had to sit there and listen to my people! You think that's lazing about?! How many times did I see mothers, fathers, siblings, crumple on my floor practically pleading me to save their loved ones?! I'm not looking forward to telling them that half, if not more, are already dead and couldn't be saved! You think we're not doing anything?! Really?!"

Koenma opened and shut his mouth multiple times to speak, but he sat back in his chair and laced his fingers together, his own teeth grinding. He'd hit a button and shouldn't have. The door to his office creaked as it opened and he let out a breath of relief when he saw Kurama with Hiei by his side, "You look like you have news."

"I do. We found a rather large slave trade auction that is going to be holding a seminar to sell a big piece," Kurama explained and then looked at the twenty-four-year-old man. They'd come so far over the years, and sometimes he wondered if it was for the better. Yusuke did look really upset right now.

"It is a hanyou. Word is it's a vampire," Hiei explained next, his hand gripping the sheath of his sword. Ten years since he'd met their leader, but the Shadow Dragon had only grown to 5ft 8, where Yusuke was two inches taller. Kurama of course beat them at six foot and Kuwabara was forever tall at 6ft 4.

"A vampire half-breed?" Yusuke questioned, his eyebrows furrowed. "Why is that such a big piece? I didn't think Vampires were all that rare, were they?"

"It's a /female/ hanyou, Yusuke," Kurama added, "She can be sold for quite a high price. A notch on someone's bedpost. Food since this is a human auction by demons. There are some theories about how vampire flesh or blood would affect one's powers, make you stronger or give you special abilities for example."

"Vampire Venom would also fetch a fair price," Hiei grunted, "It paralyzes a victim. While useless on Demons, our blood burns it out before the adrenaline can get it through our system, it will make human pray docile."

Yusuke's expression hardened and his skin whitened. "Fucking hell...when and where is this gathering taking place?" He demanded. "We can get them all in one go if we're able. Weaken resolve maybe." He wondered how on earth these people managed to catch a hanyou, but he could always save that question for when he was crushing hands underneath his foot. This rebellion was getting out of hand. Really.

"It's being held at one o'clock, so we better hurry, we only half an hour to get there. We can think of a plan of attack for an ambush on our way," Kurama explained.

"Kurama, Yusuke, when you are finished with this I advise you to look for someone named Kokoro. Botan will bring you information later," Koenma piped up, waving at them to leave and they did so without a second thought.

Kuroi couldn't believe she hadn't been able to get Ryoko out of this situation before now. It had been three days. Three days! Her vampire friend must be starving...how long had it'd been since she had eaten entirely? Five? Kami, she hoped the auction hadn't started! Checking her watch, she saw she had ten minutes. Shit, shit, shit!

Where was she? Biting her lip, she moved through the cages full of people, hating that she was so single-minded right now. If she came and busted every human auction then she'd have a weekly job. Ryo would be at the front...damn it! She had to duck behind a pillar as they started unlocking gates for the people. There was her friend, curled up into a stiff ball in the corner of a cage. It took three people to lift up her dead stone weight and Kuroi heard crunching as one demon punched her and broke his /own/ hand. Another scoffed at the man and told him to go handle the other gates, and formed a light-based whip in his hand, slashing it across Ryoko's back which caused the vampire to scream in agony before she stood reluctantly.

Kuroi hated how ripped and burned her friend's clothes and skin looked, and she had to carefully move around. There were rows and rows of people on boxes, and she knew there was no way she was going to reach Ryo now, at least with her corporal body.

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptyWed Dec 09, 2015 12:59 am

The building was overflooded with demons. There wasn't enough seats for everyone and a lot of them had to stand by the wall. The chatter was insane and loud. Yusuke frowned deeply, but kept himself in the back and trying to keep a low-profile, which didn't seem to matter. All attention was on the excitement and the atmosphere that surrounded it. With a rebellion on the rise, Yusuke knew that he'd have to shut this place down and with a snap if he could. A black-market auction was bad enough. He had made it a law that humans weren't food. It was punishable underneath treason, and the only justice that they'd get was death. However, while they could argue that the vampire was a hanyou, Yusuke vowed to amend that law to /all/ trafficking. Just to clear up any loopholes that might arise from it.

"I think I see her," Kurama whispered to his friend, "The auction hasn't started quite yet, there's still five minutes. Their prize is up on that front box," he pointed at the girl with black hair in a genie ponytail that was so long it went passed her buttocks. She barely looked twenty-five, probably younger...twenty-three? Her eyes were partially hidden by her bangs, too, and he saw a sort of off purple...like underneath was blue but there was a red sheen over it. It was faint, but there.

Her clothes were torn to shreds here and there, her abdomen pretty much completely bare. Along with bruises and gashes, there were also...burns? She must've fought really hard before shutting herself off in her shell, as she could be mistaken for a statue she was so still. Not even the barest movement to show she was breathing. Kurama saw how she was stationed right in the direct sunlight coming through the windows of the building, and the skin exposed was slowly becoming red, like a sunburn on a human.

"Oh, oh damn. The sun's killing her." Yusuke's eyes wandered to her skin. The sunburn was only getting worse, and she was most likely getting blisters from it. She was burning at such a fast rate, Yusuke feared that she was going to go up in flames at any given moment. Once more, his nails bit into his palms, eager for a fight but knowing that they had to keep a low profile in order for this ambush to work. "I have half of the mind to just say that I want to buy her right now and get her out of this." He kept his voice low, just so that no one else would hear him.

"You can out-bid any of these people, so we'll wait," Kurama assured, "We can even shut this place down once they know you own her." He was so glad he was Yusuke's adviser, the voice of reason.

"Ladies! Gentlemen! Demons from all around, thank you for coming out this afternoon!" The emcee grinned around a microphone. His fangs were protruding down his lip though subtly. "Of course we have some lovely humans for you to chew upon, but we also have a /lovely/ gift that was given to us so graciously....we felt like we had to share with you all. Now! Let's not keep you waiting!" He grinned. "For those of who are new to this auction, here's how we throw it down. I will call out the Lot Number and they will appear on the stage. Mind you they aren't naked, they are dressed tastefully, so you have no right to drool young sir in front." There was a chitter of laughter and the demon that was reprimanded pretended to duck his head. "You raise your hand and call out your bid. I repeat it back and I up the number! I continue until no one more hands are raised and no bids are made! I will call you out and you will claim your prize! Of course, please do take your dinner or your afternoon snack /outside/ the building, as we did refurnish this from the /last/ time. Those who were there will understand." There was a round of nodding. "Any questions before I begin the bid? No? THEN LET'S GET DOWN IT TO IT! Lot number 321!"

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptyWed Dec 09, 2015 1:12 am

Kuroi froze, stomach getting sick. Oh Kami, so is THAT what this place was?! She thought this was just some slave market! Immediately regretting not releasing the other humans, she knew she couldn't go back. To make up for it, she used her shadows to secretly release the locks of the chains from the inside on the rest, but they wouldn't come off unless they moved, and the humans were too scared. She had to be faster!

"Thankfully Botan already knows our location so she should be sending Special Forces when she gets the chance. We have ten or fifteen minutes before we lose our chance and they bust in first," the redheaded fox whispered, although now he seemed partially distracted. He swore he saw something...someone, flitting through the shadows as if they lived and breathed them as a second skin. The person also looked familiar...but how?

"We're not going to be able to save everyone..." Hiei hated saying that, especially as another human got sold right at that moment.

Yusuke hated hearing it as well. "No, but we'll try anyway."

It went on for quite some time, but when the fourth human was sold, the emcee stepped back into the middle of the stage. "Ladies! Gentlemen! I hope you're having a good time!" He laughed and Yusuke muttered something like "good time bashing your face in" as it was covered. "Now, I know how antsy you all are. Why we haven't even begin to show you our amazing piece yet?! Well don't you fear because here is...." there was a drum roll and the emcee shouted. "Lot 450!"

Ryo's head snapped up, and that was the first time she'd moved this whole time. Kuroi had just reached her when she was jerked forward out of her reach. Damn it! Kuroi faded back among the other humans She couldn't save her this way. Perhaps a more dramatic, surprise attack would suffice, but not in such a crowded place. She'd have to ambush whoever bought her.

Ryo wasn't shaking, or showing any signs of emotion as the auctioneer listed the benefits the buyer would have if they got her - all the way from her being a vampire, to power from eating her, to even a unique notch on someone's bedpost. All of it made her want to throw up, but there was nothing in her stomach. She hadn't eaten either human food or blood, and also hadn't had any water. She was dehydrated, weak, and it was all she could do to stand here looking lifeless.

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptyWed Dec 09, 2015 9:58 pm

The listing made Yusuke sick, even sicker that her eyes looked deader than a corpse. She was lifeless. What good would she be to anyone? Even if they did know that she was a vampire, they'd just starve her anyway. The minute the bidding was going on, Yusuke finally snapped. "I don't care who you think you are." He said loudly, causing the auction house to go dead silent. "She's not up for sale. I claim her and none of you can do a single fucking thing about it!" He could hear Kurama sigh next to him, and the demons were looking at him with wide eyes, clearly unsure on how to react.

"Oh...yeah..forgot to mention." Yusuke had a feral grin on his face. "This is also what you stupid fuckers call an "Ambush"." With that, he ran up towards the stage. The demons could be left to Hiei and Kurama, but he /really/ wanted to punch out the annoying voice that kept listing people off like they were some sort of check list.

"Y-Y-Yusuke-sama!" the demon held one hand up as he backed away, the other clutching his microphone, "I can explain. You want me to explain, right? You can't kill me because you need information, right?" he asked, though he was shaking and sweating like he didn't believe his own words.

"Oh I'll get my answers." Yusuke snarled. "Once I make you sorry." He powered up his spirit gun, and shot it at the announcer. He saw fast movement from his peripheral and had no time to shout at her. No time to tell her to get out of the way. Why would she even protect him like that??

Ryo slid her chains off of her, her eyes completely red. Glancing up at him she crouched and jumped towards him, her hands outstretched and nails claws. When he ducked down she ended up flying into the guard that had hurt her with his sun-whip, knocking him down. Hissing and growling, she started ripping at his face, armor, and eventually his torso beneath.

Jesus. Well, he couldn't say that the guard didn't deserve it. He turned towards the announcer who was about to try and use his distraction to escape. Growling to himself, he leapt after the announcer and got in front of him. He grinned, enoying the look of terror on the emcee's face before he punched him, knocking him out cold. "Oi, Kurama!" He called out into the crowd, seeing Kurama's rosewhip flash somewhere. "When you're done annoying the demon spawn, tie this guy up! He might have something for us!" He shouted.

"Of course!" Kurama replied, "Rose Whip Thorn Wheel!" he called, spinning his whip around in a perfect circle and the blade  winds sliced and diced the opponents surrounding him, their limbs falling to the ground in heaps, "We'll meet you back at the Palace with him for interrogation!"

"Awesome! Okay then, I'm bailing on you guys!" He shouted at them. He didn't wait for another answer as he left them to do their thing. He saw Ryo stand up only to fall back and he quickly gabbed her, picking her up into his hold. She was heavy as a goddamn statue, too. He didn't dare complain. She needed to be outta here. Once she was secured in a bridal hold, Yusuke took off, leaping off of the stage and dodging the demons that tried to get in his way. Speed might be Hiei's thing, but Yusuke liked to think he was second best at it. When he got outside,  he nearly toppled over a demon with a black large rimmed hat and wearing nothing but black and had vampire like wings. He gave a curious glance at him. /'I've seen him before....'/ but shook it off. It didn't matter.

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptyWed Dec 09, 2015 10:00 pm

Kurama was flicking his wrist two and fro when he saw someone drop from the ceiling, her hand-held scythe slicing clean through her enemy. He almost slashed her, but he knew she had been there for quite some time. When she turned around he froze in place. Her eyes, her hair, even her wings...she was the spitting image of...

"Kurama! Get out of the way!"

That voice. It was impossible...but he turned around and as he did so his cheek and cloths got splattered with blood, larger and more menacing scythe made of bone held tightly in his grip, "I'm seeing double of a ghost," he muttered.

"Pa!" the female version of his oldest friend groaned, looking embarrassed, "I was hoping you wouldn't show up! I could've saved her!"

"/Pa/?" Kurama turned wide green eyes to the man, "You can't...be real. You're dead!"

"You didn't stop to check a pulse." Kuronue reminded, swinging his scythe in a beautiful circle, cutting away at the demons that were coming after him. "And you could've, but you didn't." He reminded Kuroi. "Someone else beat you to the punch, and just as well. I'm shocked I don't see Kokoro in this mess."

"Kokoro hasn't been around in at least a month, Pa," Kuroi sighed, and she sliced her scythe in an ark, sending a wall of fire towards a few demons who tried to jump at her, frying them on the spot, "I wonder if she even knows what's going on around here. Probably does. She's sneaky that way."

"Is this the guy who you destroyed with bamboo back when the Netherworld was fucking everything over?" Hiei asked as he came to join the circle of conversation.

"That was someone masquerading as him," Kurama explained, still unsure how to handle this situation, "I watched you bleed to death, Kuronue."

"Oh, don't bring that up around mom, she was so mad that he got caught," Kuroi ached a brow at her father, "Had to go find him herself to save his ass."

"And had to deal with Kokoro after that." Kuronue agreed as he used his sycthe to block one of the demons' attack and used a cresent kick to the shoulder to make the demon drop down and used his scythe to cut off the head. Charming. "You got lucky, Kurama. Kokoro was /pissed off/ when she heard about you and Nira. So ticked...she offed herself after Kuroi was born. Again."

"What do you mean /again/?" Kurama frowned, and he visibly winced at Nira's name. Youko internally wasn't very happy to hear the news, either. He flicked his wrist at another and sighed as they fell to pieces. With his ability to cut down many enemies and Hiei's speed, the demons were dwindling and several had fled.

"How can someone die and still be alive? Not everyone Yusuke," Hiei asked, cutting off the head of an ogre demon that tried to get behind Kuroi.

"Turns out, Kokoro /wasn't/ lying to us when she said that her dad and her mom are gods and goddesses." Kuronue replied as he finished up the last demon that was brave enough to come after him. "She really is the Princess of Hell."

Hiei eyed Kuronue and then glanced at Kurama, "Wasn't Koenma telling us that they'd give us information on Kokoro later, before we left?"

"Yes, that's right," Kurama let his whip turn back into a rose and placed it in his hair as a seed, "Speaking of which, we should go before the Special Forces get here. We have a lot more to discuss and this place isn't really that ideal."

Kuroi poked a dead demon with her foot, "No, I wouldn't say it is."

"Did your daughter get her snark from you or her mother?" the redhead couldn't help but ask.

"Kokoro isn't much help." Kuronue shrugged. "But I'd like to think she got it from me. We can go over to my wife's place. It's a little more peaceful, so we can talk there."

"I will take this loser back to Yusuke's, then," Hiei said as he flitted to the stage where the emance was still unconscious, flinging him over his shoulder once he tied his hands and feet, "I will see you later, Kurama."

"Don't torture him too much. Leave a little for Yusuke," Kurama reminded before Hiei disappeared. Looking between daughter and father, he let out a long breath, "Lead the way, then."

"Kuroi! Kuronue! Where's Ryo? I thought you were going to get her back? I..." Tusnaia's voice cut off as behind her two black haired idiots came a redheaded man and she stood up, royal blue hair flowing around her shoulders in gentle waves, "Kuro, is this Kurama?"

"Kurama, this is Naia. She's the one that we were stealing from way back then." Kuronue introduced. "Sweetheart, this is my best friend, brother, Youko Kurama now in human form."

"You were technically stealing from my grandmother, not me," Tsunaia pointed out but she came closer with a smile and a bow, "It's a pleasure to meet you face to face. I heard so much about you, as did Kuroi. Kuronue had many stories to share from your escapades. You were together for over three thousand years or so, he told me. From the time you were children."

"Ah...yes. That was so very long ago," Kurama nodded, "We were trained together to be thieves. I guess your daughter took after you, though, but this time bit off more than she could chew?"

"Yeah, I was trying to get Pa a present for his birthday and Ryo got caught. Speaking of, Ma, Ryo's going to be okay. She's not with us right now because King Yusuke ran her off to his palace while we fought," Kuroi explained, "Apparently they're also looking for Kokoro."

"Aren't we all?" Naia rolled her doe brown eyes, "Yusuke-sama, though? She is in good hands," she relaxed.

Kuronue walked over to the couch and sat down, gesturing for Kurama to do the same. "Make yourself at home." He invited lightly. "You did say you had a lot to talk about."

"I heard something about Kokoro?" a tenor voice piped up from another room and in walked a blue haired man just as Kurama was sitting across from Kuronue, "Adviser Kurama! I didn't expect to see you here. Kuroi, I'm glad you're okay. Is Ryo...?"

"Ryo is with King Yusuke," Kuroi explained and rubbed her forehead, "No, Nat, we haven't found Kokoro but they're looking for her, too."

"She knows you have your own wanderlust. Why doesn't she ever take you?" Nat groaned, "Then she complains she felt so /alooooone/ when she comes back. Ugh! Maybe if you TOOK SOMEONE WITH YOU!" he threw his hands up, "You're so full of shit, Koko!"

"Hey Nat." Kuronue greeted, not all fazed by Natsuki's rant. He heard so many variations of it, that it was surprisingly tame. "Koenma's also looking for Kokoro too."

"GREAT! WONDERFUL! SHE PISSED OFF KOENMA FINALLY! THAT TOOK FUCKING FOREVER!" Nat turned and stormed back out of the room.

"Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" Kurama whispered and waved Kuroi off when she looked at him oddly.

"I'm...going to go follow him and try and calm him down," Kuroi said and waved to her parents before trying to bolt out of there, only to freeze when Kuronue called her out.

"Kami, Otou-san," Kuroi groaned, going formal, "Of all the things...okay..." she hung her head and sulked away.

"That is going to take hours, if I know your hoard," Kurama was amused.

"Plus generations of collecting," Naia added, leaning her head against Kuronue's chest.

"The whole day for sure," he amended.

"Well now that the kids are busy with their tasks, you can talk freely now." Kuronue grinned. "Business, the mundane, we got a lot of catching up to do."

"Indeed. How about we get the most pressing detail out of the way before we branch out?" Kurama leaned forward, lacing his fingers together, "How in the bloody hell did you survive?"

"Me," Naia answered simply before elaborating, "He was nearly dead, just barely any life-force in his body. Filled with holes from his wings, to that awful one in his ankle, and many more. It nearly made me throw up or faint, as I have a fear of blood even though I am a healer," she shook her head dismissively, "I healed him over the course of a few days before he woke back up, and that was when I discovered his need to release magic from his blood. I hate it, and always will, but he has to do what he has to do. Kuroi unfortunately has the same problem."

"I did notice her purple ribbons," Kurama nodded solemnly, "Why didn't you find me?"

"I was stuck in bed for a long time, Kurama." Kuronue said with a sad smile. "Kokoro's the one that had to do the leg work, there for a while. When I was able to finally move around, Kokoro came back ticked off as all hell and told me that the villagers were frightened. Really frightened. Apparently, you killed off Nira." He paused in his story. "And soon afterwards you, yourself died. We got Nira's body...but...we couldn't find yours. So...I settled. And then you turned up in the Dark Tournament. And then the Makai Tournament. I thought about finding you then, but...I didn't want you to lose your way. Or think that I was some sort of apperition that your enemy was using in order to get you out of balanced. You know that's something they'd do if they had any knowledge of me. Especially after the Netherworld Gods."

"That was the third and last time he left," Naia pointed out, "The first he almost died, again, trying to look for you after you went AWOL and get away from me because he strongly believed he was a bad person and didn't deserve me. I tracked him down and we traveled for a little while together. That was when we learned about Yomi," she explained.

Kurama winced, "I'm not...proud of that. I was in a bad place and cared about nothing and no one, not even myself," he said slowly, "In spite of being a demon, I am sure I would go to Hell regardless for the things I've done."

"And I prayed that if you were in Hell that Kokoro would give you a good kick to the knee." Kuronue nodded. "You'd deserve at least that much if not a straight forward punch to the face, but we know she'd like to be more subtle." He paused and sighed. "Afterwards, I just settled. Married and mated Naia. Had Kuroi. Heard about Kokoro's suicide. I thought I lost all my friends, it was painful. I thought to myself "this had to be what you were feeling when you lost me", but...you can imagine my shock when little Kokoro showed up out of nowhere with her mom in tow and proclaimed Kuroi as a friend. Then I heard you were alive. I think Fate really liked fucking with me. It's just a shame they couldn't go for the full gold and use Nira too."

"Nira and Youko had their chance," Kurama said softly, "How about...we branch away from dark topics. That was heavy. A lighter one...how about you tell me more about your mate?" he grinned, "Something about her caught your attention. What did she do to woo you?"

"Well, when I first woke up I think I called you an angel." He said turning to Naia. "Which I was told in turn to sleep it off. The next time I woke up, it was...late at night and there was a full moon. And no one around. I had this brilliant thought of going through the house. Part thief, part wanting to know my surroundings a bit more when I went into the garden and towards the lake that's in her backyard." He smiled. "And boy did I ever get a sight. You remember how some water-users in our village would sometimes go on the river, get naked, and just...dance? That's what she did...only I wasn't paying too much attention to the daning as I was to something else."

"Of course you weren't," Kurama laughed, enjoying how Tsunaia's cheeks tinted pink and her face split into a grin, "I would imagine someone like you would do something more elaborate than just dance in all your glory, however."

"You are right. I /am/ a Water Priestess. It was a family tradition...only Kuroi cannot do it because she wields fire," Tsunaia shook her head, "Anyway, that night was the first of a once every fifty years ritual and it lasts for the duration of the three nights of the full moon. The first night is special because I start it and get the lake prepared and throughout the next twenty-four hours it reaches its peek of magical potential. The second night is a full-blown celebration with people from the village and everyone who lives or works here. Sick, elderly, young children and the like. I sing and dance, this time wearing a special dress that I can easily move in. The injured get healed during that ritual, and easy illnesses or diseases get cured. The third night is a thank-you for her magic and assistance and everything she's done for us."

"I remember hearing about that, and often wanted to attend. Villagers from miles around would come for that, too, wouldn't they?" Kurama asked.

"Yes, yes they would," Naia nodded and she placed her hand on Kuronue's chest, fingers rubbing the exposed flesh peeking through the laces of his vest, "The second night we kissed for the first time, but that was kind of coaxed out of us from a child who thought we were mates and said her parents were mates and they kissed a lot, so we indulged her..."

"But of course, it lasted a bit longer than a simple peck?" Kurama's smirk was teasing and directed at Kuro.

"So much longer," Kuronue purred, "I'm a sucker for kids, you know that." He told Kurama. "If I had to indulge one, then might as well make it count. Otherwise, we'd just get begged for more kisses and that'd be a drag. The pecks and not a full blown kiss dear, I'll never think kissing you is a drag."

"I wouldn't think you did, considering how often you say otherwise," Tsunaia giggled.

The affection and desire was still so strong after twenty-five years, and the fox demon's eyes were soft, "I am so happy for you two. You have obviously come so far and gone through trials of your own and passed with flying colors."

"Thanks," Kuronue grinned brightly at his best friend. He seemed to pause for a moment. "I don't know why you're looking for Kokoro, but...if she's not hanging around Koenma and she's not bugging Kuroi and she's not giving Natsuki a heart attack every five minutes, then I know a place where she /might/ go."

"Where might she go, then? Also, is she basically the same Kokoro we knew back in the day?" Kurama asked with an arched eyebrow, "It would help to understand what is going on if she is."

"Basically." Kuronue said slowly. "Looks wise: She wouldn't have changed a bit. Maybe if you found her when she didn't kill herself, she'd be older, but...right now she looks exactly how we first met her. Round face, green eyes, red hair, hey it sounds like you! Sometimes she wears the most risque clothes I ever seen on a twenty-year old. Personality wise: She still runs head first into problems, still is vulgar. She loves children as if she was once a mother herself and with a fierceness I don't think even Naia can compete with. She still has that thing with weird names. She's called Kuroi Evelyne once, only once, and then never again. Though she still calls me papa and Naia mother once in a while." He paused. "But...I feel like something's changed. Like she's bracing herself or running away from something I don't know. Ko-chan's never been a coward...and if something's making her run away or act even more affectionate-yeah I know Kokoro being more affectionate, I never thought it was possible either- then something's going on."

"Perhaps she knows something we don't. All the more reason to find her." He stood up and ran a hand through his hair, "I am going to go contact Yusuke and see if he will come here. I will be back in a few minutes."

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptyThu Dec 10, 2015 11:42 pm

()
Everything was murky, and red-tinged, like she was in some sort of bloody lake. Where was she? All she could hear clearly was rushing...and turning her head she saw a figure, but couldn't make out the details. It moved, and she launched herself at it, remembering the pain over the several days she was imprisoned. There was crashing as a chair hit the wood floor and she bared her fangs at the figure. If it was speaking, she couldn't hear it. Rushing, rushing...her eyes found it's neck and saw the veins pulsing.

She was completely lost in the haze. Yusuke knew that he was supposed to call Kuroi...that she was the one that had to deal with this...but at the same time he couldn't bear to make her wait. She was starving, she was wild...and the red and purple mix in her eyes was gorgeously heartbreaking. Such a beautiful but terrible mix. He swallowed, watching her eyes watch the bob of his throat and closed his eyes, letting himself relax.

Watching the murky person tilt his head and allow her access tripped something in her brain and she struck, her painfully long fangs sinking into his veins like a hot knife through butter. The burst of blood across her tongue made her moan and she gripped the person's shoulders. Each swallow tasted so good...so very good, and her previously frozen body flushed with warmth. Pressing closer against him, her hands moved from the shoulders to his hair, holding his head in place. So good...so hot...she'd never tasted anything like it before. Purely male, purely dominant and it sparked across her senses, drawing another moan forth.

He remembered vaguely Hiei telling him that Vampire venom could paralyze the victim even though it didn't work so well on Demons.  He never thought that he'd enjoy being bitten until now, but this was...this was fantastic. His senses were a little sharper and a little duller and he could hear her breathing and her moans, which really got him hard in a heartbeat and his surroundings kind of melted into the background with no idea of time or place. The venom wasn't supposed to feel like this. He was pretty sure that Vampire venom wasn't supposed to make him hard as a rock and his hands tremble and him wanting to know what her flesh tasted like. He had to keep a stable mind, but he really was losing grip on it. She was getting warmer...but he had to be careful, but since when was careful ever in his name? She could accidentally drain him dry...but shit this felt good. So damn good.

After a moment, which felt like an hour, Ryo felt like she was coming back to herself. Flashes via his blood memories reminded her of who it was who had saved her. Yusuke-sama? His face she had seen during the Dark Tournament TV screen years ago, and then again during the many Makai Tournaments. After she filtered through that and returned to the core taste and how it affected her, she also felt how it affected him. That was abnormal. He was supposed to be in pain...but he was enjoying it in the most primal way. It...embarrassed her, but at the same time her body responded to his sexual desire. This was much, much different than with her sister and then with Kuroi...and she'd never drank from the neck before, always too scared to hurt. Yusuke could take it, though...Yusuke was strong, and her hips rocked against his. One last draw, and she removed her lips, though licked the wound so her saliva would seal over it and heal it. It continued from there, her tongue tracing up until she met his ear and she nibbled on it, "You taste so yummy..." she cooed sweetly, voice like honey and without any of the rasp.

"Never thought I'd hear a girl say that about my blood." Yusuke commented as he opened his eyes and tilted his head a little further so that she could play with his ear more. "Damn that feels good." He glanced down her body and noticed for the first time that she was fucking busty has hell. Damn...he could peer down her collar at this angle. Enough to get a good look anyway.

Her fingers toyed with his hair as she sucked his earlobe and traced along the shell of it, and then she pulled back, her hands going to his chest to support herself. The red was gone completely, leaving a vivid, bright ocean blue. Moving her body like this put their crotches closer together and she felt the bulge under her. She was still in her ripped clothes and it showed how her skin had flushed and actually had a healthy, peachy tone to it, "A-Arigato...for saving me."

"Not a problem." Yusuke had to get his mind out of the gutter, but...his fingers were itching do more than that. Instinct took over and he let his hands roam the sides of her body, guiding them down to her waist, but not lower yet. "It was right timing and being at the right place."

"I still appreciate it," Ryo murmured, her thumbs rubbing the skin of his chest through the ripped V line of his yellow shirt, enjoying the sparks that shot through her body. She shifted, getting more comfortable for the both of them but made no move to get off. His eyes were such a wonderful shade of brown, and his hair /had/ been slicked back but now it was askew which made her smile and she had to fight a giggle. The flush in his face was sexy, and she knew where his eyes roamed. "I'm Ryoko Minami. How do you feel? I didn't drain too much, did I?"

"I feel incredible. I don't think you drained me too much." Yusuke replied as he moved his hips against hers. The heat that he could feel was just..amazing in it's own right. His hand lingered at her hips, but didn't do much else. Even though his fingers twitched as if they wanted to. "I still have a lot of energy to spend."

He certainly spoke as if his mind was...fairly clear, in spite of the burning in his gaze. Her breathing was ragged and she met his movements with her own, "Is that so? Good...I'm glad you are alright," she leaned down and planted her lips against his fiercely.

He didn't give her an inch. He opened his mouth and responded to her in kind, feeling really dizzy with the blood in her mouth and how he could swear that it was coating his teeth and his own tongue. He pushed her hips a little closer to his crotch, rubbing his hard on against her. He also moved one hand up her torn shirt, just to feel the skin and bring her closer to him.

Ryoko moaned between kisses, tilting their heads to find the way that was comfortable for them. They breathed heavily through their noses in order to not pull away, tongues swirling and rubbing. He was just so hard, she could feel it through her jeans and she really, really wished she could be rid of them to experience it on a different level. His hand on her back was so warm to her cool skin. Even with fresh blood and turned on, her body temperature was still rather low while he was like a furnace, just radiating and she just wanted to soak it all up.

Yusuke was so lost in his lust that he almost didn't notice the compact mirror buzzing. He groaned, dropping her kisses and gently pushed her back off of him, but keeping her close as he dug out the compact mirror. He flipped it open and blinked, "Yo, Kurama. I thought you were playing catch up."

Ryo laid her head on his shoulder, holding him just as close and peeking up. Kurama...that was Kuronue's friend and Yusuke's Adviser. Judging by the background they were at the mansion.

"I...was," Kurama said slowly, eyes narrowing at him from the other side, "We were talking for a rather long time. Just what were /you/ doing? Your hair is a wreck. You would have to use twice as much gel with that 'do to tame it again."

"It doesn't matter," Yusuke said shaking his head. "I can get myself fixed up in a moment. Did something happen?" He pressed. "You don't just call unless something's doing down."

The smirk faded into sudden confusion, "Wait...she fed off of you. Why do you look like...?" 'you just had sex' was the unfinished line, "Never mind, we can discuss that later. Kuronue agrees that it would be a good idea for you to come here, and I will send you the coordinates. Ah, in case you didn't know, Hiei brought the announcer to the Palace and is interrogating him for you. I am sure he will give us what he finds out later."

"That poor announcer." Yusuke deadpanned. "What a short life he lived, he will be missed. Why do I...you know what, alright. I'll jump in to a surprise. Want me to drag Hiei there with me?"

"If he's done doing business, sure. We will probably be leaving shortly to find Kokoro. Kuronue knows her and where she might be hiding, but Ryo's opinion would be appreciated as well," Kurama nodded, "I will see you soon." With that his screen bliped to black.

"Koko...Kuro-san probably thinks she's with Hana," Ryo murmured and she swung her leg off of Yusuke so she could sit up properly, stretching. Most of her wounds had healed from feeding, but a couple of the burns and deeper cuts lingered, and she was still stiff from being stuck in a cage for days, "Sorry...we couldn't continue that..." she smiled in a sultry way at him, "I'm also sorry about your hair."

"I'm /really/ not sorry about the hair, but I am disappointed that we can't continue either." He stood up. "I'm going to fix my hair and then I'll contact Hiei. You cool with insta-teleportation? We're going to be using portals that my friend, Botan makes."

"I have met Botan, and I've been through a lot of different teleportation methods. I will be fine," Ryo assured him, "I hope Hiei has good news for you, at least in the form of more information on the slave trades." Not that it was /good/ in any fashion, but he knew what she meant.

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptyFri Dec 11, 2015 10:01 pm

"Amen." Yusuke said as he went over to the mirror and started working on his hair. Once he got it at least manageable he grinned at Ryoko, "Let's see if Hiei's willing to come along for the ride."

~*~

The three of them arrived through the portal that Botan created to the front of the Fundir mansion. He was impressed by the large, towering 3-story estate. The building looked old, older than the palace that he had even though he heard that it went through centuries and centuries worth of time. Kurama, Kuroi, a blue-haired male, and a woman who was also blue-haired, he assumed Naia, were all sitting at the base of a willow tree on the patio, barely obscured by the willow's hanging leaves.

He pushed the leaves aside and walked over to them, "Yo. Kurama told me to come down."

"Hey." Kuronue greeted, "I was just telling Kurama where to find Kokoro. You are looking for her, yea?"

"For some unknown holy reason," Yusuke rolled his eyes, "It sounds like she's a witch hunt."

"Only if she doesn't want to be found," Kurama laughed, "and you need her for something. It's always been her M.O, however, disappearing off of the grid. Been like that since I could remember."

"Maybe Koenma can use a tracker," Yusuke grinned, "A dog collar or something."

"The /day/ you get her to agree to wear a tracker, is the day Natsuki becomes Prince of Hell." Kuronue turned to the blue-haired male, "Not that you wouldn't make a good Prince, kid." He looked over at Yusuke, "As I was saying, I suspect Ko-chan might be in the human world."

"I was thinking you would tell them to contact Hanako," Ryo said as she sat down with a sigh, "Koko loves kids and Hana recently adopted, remember?"

"I forgot." Kuronue said, snapping his fingers as he looked towards Ryoko while Yusuke was talking to Hiei. "Considering she's been gone an entire month now, and you haven't gone back to her temple since the party for Kai. I mean, you are trying to become your own person...so I doubted Kokoro would go to a place that would make you revert to your younger self."

"You look awful, Ryo dear," Tsunaia frowned, "Who don't you go get a change of clothes? Hana doesn't need to see you in the rags that used to be clothes. Unless of course, you want her to ask what happened and worry."

"Ah...no. You're right, yes, I'll go do that," Ryo groaned as she stood back up, "I'll be back in a few minutes." With that, she flitted off.

This was the first time Hiei had seen Ryoko use any powers, let alone that of speed, "I wonder if that is a Vampire ability or if she is simply fast."

"....." Yusuke was impressed. "You should race." He said honestly to Hiei. "She'd lay me out flat. Anyway, do you think she's there?" he asked, turning back to the conversation, "And it's not going to be a wild goose chase?"

"If Ryo thinks Kokoro will be at this place, then I would place my bets on it. Kokoro and Kuronue both here adored kids before Kuro ever had his own," Kurama contributed, "Where is it, Kuronue? Do you know?

"Hana-chan would be at the Minami Shrine. It's in the depths of Tokyo." He told Kurama, "That's all I know about it. Hana-chan is a Seer of sorts herself, so Ko-chan sometimes goes over and gets comforted by someone who shares her pain somewhat. I can't believe it slipped my mind really. Ryoko hasn't been to seen her since the congratulations ceremony. My fault."

"You mentioned that before Naia sent her off to change," Hiei folded his arms, "What was that about 'reverting to her younger self'?"

"Ryoko has this thing about wanting to "find herself" which is why she's pushing a boundary on her brother and sister." Kuronue shrugged. "She doesn't want to fall back into old habits, so she stays away as much as she can."

"Old habits do die hard," Kurama could understand that, "I feel the same occasionally with my mother...human mother. My demeanor changes and it's not just because of who she is. I still don't go see her as often as I should. Also because I don't want her to be in danger."

"Well, regardless." Kuronue shook his head. "It's the only place where she'd probably be. If she's not there, well...you might want to tell Koenma that you're going to be leaving it up to fate on whether or not she comes around. Or use Hiei. He has the Jagan."

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptySat Dec 12, 2015 2:06 am

Hiei narrowed his eyes, "I will not use my Eye for something so mundane."

Time continued to pass as they had more trivial topics but soon Ryo peered through the willow branches to see what was going on, "Mu-ma? Would you care to open the link to Hana's?" she asked Tsunaia. She was wearing a cool outfit as it was August, and it consisted of a white knee-length skirt and a girly pale blue short sleeved top. Her hair was brushed and her high ponytail fixed, and it even looked wet as if she had taken a five minute rinse. Her only accessory was a white thick ivory headband that had a twisting, DNA-like design roping through the middle.

"Yes, of course dear," Naia set her teacup down and stood up, "Anyone who's going to the Minami temple follow me," she called, smiling at Kuronue, "I'll meet you back here in a moment."

Yusuke, Hiei, and Natsuki stood up and followed Naia. Kurama was about to go but Kuronue quickly stood up and hugged Kurama tightly. "Come back when you find Ko." He told him. "You have a place here." He let him go, and smiled warmly at him. "Good luck." He watched his friend leave and sighed to himself. Damn this was going to take forever.

~*~

Natsuki looked around once he gathered his footing on the cobblestone path. The drop through this portal link had landed them in a koi pond within a lovely garden and he wondered just who tended to it here. He watched as the fish scattered once the one clumsy member of their party landed full-bore into the water. "I think you'll have to apologize for taking an impromptu bath in the Minami pond," he quipped, "You were supposed to coat yourself in a bubble, Yusuke-sama."

"Don't call him that," Hiei rolled his eyes as his words echoed the Mazaku King.

"How was I supposed to do that?!" Yusuke waded through the water to get to shore. "And like Hiei said, don't call me Sama. I'm not sama anything. Unlike lord of the binkies." He stood up and groaned. "My god, that was awful...AND SHOW OFF!" He shouted as Kurama landed perfectly without a problem and reached shore.

"Note to self, you act like a wet cat when you hit water." Kurama snickered to himself. "if your enemies knew you hated water, you'd be easier to defeat."

Ryoko was laughing as she stood beside Natsuki, and she reached her hand out to help him, "You use your energy and basically just let it surround you in a sphere-like barrier," she explained sweetly.

"Agh!" Yusuke threw his hands up. "Tell me that sooner!" He took her hand and gladly let himself be pulled onto shore. He heard laughter ring through the yard. He turned his attention to a young woman who was wearing a miko's outfit. Her short, black hair had a white ribbon adorned at the top.

"Ryo!" The woman exclaimed, going over to Ryoko and hugging her tightly. "You brought friends finally!" She pulled away. "Kai's been asking if you were going to come by to visit soon. I'm glad I didn't have to beg on my knees to get you here." She looked at the people who had came with her. "So, whose the entourage?"

"Hana!" Ryo beamed at her sister, gripping Yusuke's arm sub-consciously, "It's nice to see you, too," she giggled, "How is Kai? The man behind me is Natsuki, Kokoro's bodyguard slash best friend..."

"It is a pleasure," Nat nodded and bowed politely, stepping more into view, "You have a lovely home. Who tends the garden?"

"Thank you! Kai, myself, and sometimes Masanori, my twin brother are the gardeners. We picked it up from my dad." Hana beamed happily. "Kai does most of the picking of flowers, and Masanori helps dig the holes. I do the rest."

"You do a lovely job." Kurama smiled at the woman. He liked the aura that surrounded her, a compassionate person, "My name is Kurama. I'm just the tag-along."

"I'm YuSAH!" Yusuke let out a sharp yelp and he jumped high in the sky. Instead of soaking wet, he was now completely dry save for some steam that was coming off of his clothes. "What the hell Hiei!"

Hana covered her mouth with her hand, her shoulders shook as she muffled her giggling.

Hiei snorted and covered his mouth with the back of his hand, hiding in vain his snickering sneer, "I dried you off. Aren't you going to thank me?"

Ryo pouted because in his jump he had dislodged from her. Feeling self-conscious she was no longer the confident, calm girl Yusuke had been experiencing until now, but a meek girl who looked down and away, "That's Yusuke Urameshi, the King of Makai. He just likes being called Yusuke, though, if you didn't hear him before you appeared."

"Yusuke then." Hana smiled warmly as Yusuke growled and grumbled at Hiei. She turned back to Ryoko. "As for Kai, he's doing well enough. It's a shame really, you just missed him and Kokoro for that matter."

"/Really/?!" Natsuki started to instantly hyperventilate, "JUST NOW?!" he ran both hands through his hair, wanting to rip it out from the roots.

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptySat Dec 12, 2015 1:17 pm

"Calm down." A man laughed and everyone's attention was diverted towards him. This man had long, flowing purple hair that was tied up in a high ponytail. A sword hung on his hip. "I'm guessing you guys are running wild looking for Kokoro huh?"

"This is Masanori, my twin." Hana beamed.

"Nice to meet you," Masanori agreed with a smile of his own.

"Yes! Yes, /I/ have been going nuts for at least a /month/ and these people just recently, as in today, needed to learn her whereabouts. At least you were right, Ryo, and she was here," Nat rambled quickly, his hands animated as he talked. This man looked /really/ good in that haori and hakama set, and that sword made him look like a noble, but he was sure he could be deadly with it if provoked.

"Glad we were demoted to 'these people'," Hiei commented, "How far would she be if she just left, then? I could go look for her."

"Hmm." Hana frowned thinking about it. "Depends on the direction she went. She could be as far as the park-"

"-or jumping off Courage's Bridge." Masanori finished off thoughtfully.

"Bridge of Courage." Hana corrected.

"Same difference." Masanori defended.

"/Why/ would she be jumping off of /any/ bridge when she has a /family/?!" Natsuki nearly screamed.

"Does he not know how to take a joke? I even saw that as a joke..." Hiei muttered.

"It's not if it's Kokoro," Ryo shook her head.

Hana was laughing so hard she had to turn around while Masanori just looked at Natsuki with concern. "Dude, Nat. It's not like she's gonna die if she jumps off of the Bridge of Courage." He told him seriously. "I mean if the kids do it, sure they might drown but that's why it's called the Courage's Bridge. It's a daredevil's jump."

"Wait, would she really jump off a bridge?" Yusuke asked curiously.

"If she's paid enough or dared to or if she's being dramatic because the kids are around to see it, sure." Masanori replied, "She even encourages it so long as the kids obey her rules." He shrugged. "But believe me, if she was gonna die, she'd be a lot more dramatic than jumping off of a bridge."

"Can you not?" Hana frowned deeply at her brother.

"Just saying Kokoro has a flair for theatre." Masanori sighed.

"Well, your giving her body guard a flair of a heart-attack." Hana pointed out.

"Oops."

Indeed, Natsuki had gone over to the nearest tree and was leaning against it, "Why? Why did I ever take on this responsibility and give myself this kind of stress? She's going to be the death of /me/ before herself!"

"If it's any consolation...Kai can't swim." Masanori sheepishly walked over to Natsuki. "So she's most likely at the park."
"Great, awesome. So she's nearby?" Yusuke asked, looking at Hana.
"Probably..." Hana frowned. "Jeez, I'm starting to wonder what she /did/ in order to make all of you run after her like wild turkeys."

"I'm not sure, I just know Koenma told us to find her. We were under the assumption she could help us with some demon-related issues," Hiei explained.

"...." Hana and Masanori exchanged a look and Hana nodded. "Check the park." She told Hiei firmly. "Then the bridge if you have to."

Without further ado, Hiei had vanished and Ryo shifted uncomfortably, "Shall we...go inside?" she asked them and glanced towards the other three men, "It is a hot day, and you make the best Sun Tea, Masa."

Masanori beamed proudly and looked over at Natsuki. "Come on." he told the blue-haired male. "Hope you don't mind the mess," he told them sincerely as they walked to the temple. "It's kinda obvious we got a kid living here." He slid the door open and everyone kicked off their shoes.

Ryo found the pillows to sit on and placed them around the table on the floor. Nat noticed she did this without prompting and wondered if it was because she was nice, or if she was doing what Kuronue mentioned before. Maybe a bit of both, even? Shaking his head, he took a spot at the corner and tilted his head to watch Masa walk away to what he presumed was the kitchen. Unfortunately, the hakama he wore didn't show off his ass. Ah, well, you win some and ya lose some. "Masanori, was it? You hair, did you dye it or is it natural?"

"It's natural." Masanori touched his head. "I have /no/ idea why either." He placed the pitcher on the counter and gathered up cups for everyone, muttering under his breath numbers. "Most likely I got it from my mom's side, rather than my dad's. Hana-chan looks a lot like dad." He turned to Natsuki. "So...you're a bodyguard yeah? Do you enjoy the job? What is it like?"

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptySat Dec 12, 2015 11:57 pm

"I do enjoy it for the most part," Nat agreed, "My father was a bodyguard, even was a guard for Lucifer-sama himself. I followed in his footsteps even after he disappeared, presumably dead, leaving my mother alone who still works as a keeper of the castle, cleaning and the like."

"Really?!" Masanori was shocked. He hadn't been expecting that. He would have thought Kokoro had bribed him or something. "Wow...so it's a family legacy. That's really amazing."

Masa, nor Hana, flinched or blinked an eye at the mention of who he worked for. Sure Kokoro was the Princess of Hell but ho had they thought to be the Ruler? He would've assumed they thought of Satan. Ah, but of course Satan and Lucifer were the same to many. Nat shook his head, finding himself registering that he called him a legacy, "I...suppose you can say that, yes," he agreed with a proud grin and a tint to his cheeks, "You asked what it was like. Well, I train every day, and besides Kokoro making me lose my mind...I enjoy helping people. I'm not just a bodyguard, I am part of the Guard in Hell. I have buddies I joke around with and go to the bar after training or the spar sessions. It's not all fun and games but I wouldn't ave it any other way."

"That's impressive." Masanori handed him a cup now that he was done pouring the glasses. Their fingers brushed and he felt a gentle warmth and a small prick like a tiny needle. "I don't have much of a legacy to share, especially compared to something as exciting as yours." He arranged the cups onto a tray that he had found nearby the sink, his cheeks holding a faint flush. That was...wasn't it? He didn't want to assume...or ask. He didn't want to make Natsuki go nuts, or worry. What if he was wrong?

Natsuki couldn't ignore the way his hand still tingled like he had a pinched nerve, but he also tried not to draw attention to it, sipping his cup slowly. In his own way of testing, he moaned half-teasing half-honestly at the taste of the sun tea, "Oh, this is naturally sweet! It does taste amazing!"

"Doesn't it?" Ryoko piped up, having gone quiet while Kurama and Hanako were having their own quiet conversation about Kai, their voices too low to be heard as Nat and Masa conversed. Yusuke was strangely quiet as well, though. Perhaps he was observing? Listening to both conversations at once? Maybe lost in his own thoughts?"

"I do my best." Masanori blushed as he walked to the living room and handed out cups. "I have more sugar if someone likes it extra sweet. I know Kai will. Kid has a sweet-tooth to end all sweet-teeth."

"I believe food and beverages made by hand always taste extra-sweet because those who make them, as you said, do their best," Natsuki told him, eyeing him as he took another sip. He wasn't looking at him. Had that done the trick? No one except Hana had a knowing look in their eyes.

Masanori could kill his sister right now. She wasn't talking about it, but he knew that she was making Natsuki suspicious. Kurama even seemed to know something, though he hoped that it was something else. He really hoped it was something else. "I doubt it'll be much longer till they show up." He assured, sensing Yusuke's stress.

"Nah, not too worried about that." Yusuke shook his head. "I was wondering, are you guys and Ryoko related in some way?"

"She's our big sister." Masanori beamed. "And you won't find a better one."
Hana coughed.

"You don't count your my twin."

"You're the eldest twin?" Kurama asked curiously.

"By five minutes!" Hana said proudly.

"So...you guys are also Vampire hanyous?" Yusuke asked.

"They're human," Ryo shook her head, "I was adopted. I'm older by two years." Her reply was short, simple, instead of long and involved. She didn't like talking about it so she looked at the twins, hoping they would explain instead.

"Lady Kokoro's father, Prince Lucifer brought her to our place." Hana explained. "I'm the strongest Priestess so, naturally I was assigned to be her protector. But we were much more than that since we were children."

"He picked right too, my abilities to do wards and other things are limited." Masanori agreed. "But I can do simple spells and offensive magic rather than defensive, so I suppose we're two sides of the same coin. Of course, my protection is for my sister. I can't protect Ryoko, so the whole protection circle comes around."

"Interesting..." Kurama commented, clearly intrigued. "Why did Lucifer do that?"

"Many reasons." Hana replied vaguely. "So many reasons."

So that was why Masa reacted the way he did. That made a lot more sense. Natsuki leaned back on one hand, the drink resting on his thigh, the other leg bent, eyeballing the purple haired man again. Hell, when she /wasn't/ around he really did take after her and her lewd habits. He really should stop reprimanding her if he was being suggestive like this without words. "If Ryo is two years older then that makes you...twenty-one? Just old enough to drink, how fun that new experience must be." That was...quite an age difference, now he thought about it. Not a lot of people were into that...he was nine years older, for crying out loud. He really should stop while he was ahead...

"It's a lot of fun since we're able to drink during the ceremonies now." Masanori agreed. "Otherwise it's kind of boring filling up cups and listening to people make well-wishes without being able to do anything." He noticed that Natsuki looked crestfallen, why? Was it something he said? He did? Was it about his age? Did he feel pity for him since he was a human?
"Masanori's the fun drunk." Hana stage whispered to Kurama.

"Says the one whose a light-weight! You pass out after a cup!" Masanori pointed out to her.

"I pass out after a cup and I don't do anything foolish." Hana's eyes were twinkling in mirth. "Unlike a certain someone who thought it'd be fun to start singing as loud as he could and make his own ritual dances."

"Sh-shut up!" Masanori's cheeks flushed red while Yusuke and Kurama laughed.

Natsuki snorted, "That would be a sight to see. Have you built up your tolerance yet? How many can you do? I can drink two bottles before I'm tipsy though once I hit that tipping point I will be drunk by the end of the third. The type of drunk I am...depends on who I'm with. When I'm at the bar I laugh. A lot. My face and stomach hurt by the end of the night."

"A cup and a half..." Masanori sounded a bit resigned.

"Three!" Hana cheered.

"Because we know why she can hold her liquor and I can't," Masanori groaned, "Favortisim...That's what it is. Favoritism."

"Wow. I can drink all of you underneath the table." Yusuke was kind of shocked. "Kurama is like a bathtub. He won't get tipsy unless he's already exhausted."

"That puts me in a very flattering light, Yusuke. Thanks." Kurama deadpanned.

"No prob."

"I...can drink one bottle and by the second I'm done for," Ryo admitted slowly, as if she wasn't sure if she should add her own two cents, "I didn't start drinking until I was with Kuroi. Even then it's just when she sneaks some so that's why my tolerance sucks. I have never passed out like Hana, however."

"One of these days, we should get together and have a drinking party." Yusuke beamed. "It'll be fun."

"At least try to act drunk after a while to humor us," Natsuki sat back up, drinking more tea before he reached his fist out for a bro-bump, "I'm down."

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptySun Dec 13, 2015 12:01 am

Kokoro pulled on the swing and then started running as fast as she could, ducking underneath and grinned happily as the little girl went higher than she had before. "Wheee!" The girl laughed, pumping her legs back and forth.

"Ko-chaaaan~" A boy cried out, shaking the chains a little. "Me next! Me next!"

"Really?! You were going so high without me before!" Kokoro laughed as she walked over and went behind him. "Hold on tight!" She stepped back as far as she could, and once more ran, ducking under the swing. Once the two were high enough, her eyes wandered the play ground.

Kai was happily playing on the climbing dome along with a few other kids. There were a team of children who were going off the course with a soccar (or was it football?) game. There were a few kids on the slides. There were parents on the benches, a few of them reading and others gossiping together. She pushed her bangs from her eyes, longing that her hair was a bit longer to put into a ponytail. She wore black tights with blue booty shorts, her boots had flaps on either side of her feet and her top was orange and strapless. Considering all of her other clothes, this could be called "tame" for her.

"I don't understand why everyone is creating such a fuss over you. If you were this easy to find, then why didn't they do it?" Hiei called as he sat on a branch in a tree close by the swing sets, "A month and they had no idea you were with the boy here in the human world. I could have figured out the latter at least a long time ago. Considering Nigenkai is where I would be able to find Kurama, and I occasionally go to a different park here, too."

Kokoro automatically tensed when she heard the voice, but smiled at the end of his little monolouge. She took a deep breath in, and let it out slowly. Her hands went to her back and clutched at each other, fingers slipping. She turned around, "You found me." She grinned at him. "But you found /me/." She pointed out to him as she walked over to the bench. "You didn't find the person that they were looking for. I guess they forget sometimes that it's a title. It happens." She was being vague because she knew too well how quickly little kids can figure things out. They were the best detectives...and the best troublemakers.

"Kurama sometimes needs to be a little human, and I need the peace and quiet. I can sleep soundly here in Nigenkai where I'm not on anyone's radar and no one is trying to murder me," Hiei nodded, "If you focused more on your title you wouldn't be here. You would be where Natsuki wouldn't lose his head. I listened carefully to the conversations about you and drew my own conclusion I doubt the others see."

"And what kind of conclusion did you draw to?" Kokoro asked as she sat down on the edge of the bench. Her eyes wandered towards the spider dome where Kai seemed to be debating about something and was climbing off. Probably going to go to another piece of equipment or joining in on a game. She turned her attention back to Hiei.

"You're never alone," Hiei shrugged, "You've been gone a month and yet you've been right in plain sight, playing with Kai and the other children, even if you weren't with your other family or friends. Kuroi's family didn't seem too concerned, at least. Natsuki was just being neurotic."

Kokoro didn't say anything. Her hands clutched at the hem of her shorts, and she looked at the playground again. Kai was now over at the monkey bars and doing his best to go across them. "You are observant. Well, you did find me, so why were you looking for me? If Kuroi's not worried, she would've been able to calm down Natsuki." She made a face. "Unless he made the King of Makai worry which is messed up on so many different accounts."

Flitting down so he was standing next to her and could speak quieter, he explained to her bluntly; "There are slave trades where humans are being sold to demons for food." Hiei watched her reaction carefully, "Koenma told us you would be able to help us. Then we learned Kuronue was alive and you hang around them often. We just kept trying to find leads to where you were and now here I am. I probably shouldn't but who would tell you? Ryoko was captured by these slavers and that is how we ran across Kurama's friend, rescuing her. I haven't had the chance to confirm it but Yusuke and Ryoko seemed awfully close. He fed her and I think it got heated, but that is not supposed to happen. From the information I've learned about Vampires, being bitten is painful because of the venom, at least for demons it is."

"I already knew about the slave traders. They've been doing a lot of business, even before Yusuke became king." She said slowly, lowering her voice to match his. "However, they're appearing more and more beause the rebellion that this Hageshi or whatever his name is, is trying to take off." She took a breath and let it out. "Hey! Kai!" She shouted and waved her hand around to catch the boy's attention. "Come on! We gotta cut the visit short for today." She watched Kai jump down from the monkey bars. "Looks like I got to see this for myself...and hopefully get Natsuki to /chill/."

"Hageshi...that certainly sounds like something to talk to the others about and not around children. I would rather we go back to the Fundir mansion where Kuroi is. She's grounded right now, more or less, because she's the one that got Ryo caught," Hiei rolled his eyes. He looked over the five-year-old that ran up to Kokoro. He was a ginger much like Kuwabara with more of a rusty red tint, with blue eyes. Narrowing his eyes suspiciously he glanced at the woman, "A fox demon child?"

"Hana-chan's not mine." Kokoro grinned as she picked up Kai and making a swooshing sound and placing him on her hip. Kai laughed as he wrapped his arms around her neck. "Techincally I have a bunch of children at home, orphans." She told Hiei. "Since I don't have mate to actually /have/ a basket filled with kids."

"According to Kurama and Kuronue," Hiei started as they began headed back to the Minami temple, "You have been around a long time. Why have you not found one? Or had one assigned to you in an arranged marriage? Your father the King of Hell, is he the human's Satan or something else?"

"My dad was a god long before the humans had a concept of what is known as the bible." Kokoro replied. "I've lived a really, really long time....sometimes I think too long." She put Kai down from her hip, but held the small child's hand. "Neither my father nor my mom believe in arranged marriages because their marriage was not arranged for starters. And if I was to be in arranged marriage, I'd do whatever I could to fuck it up to the point where even my own reputation was damaged. Not that'd matter much. They knew I was waiting for someone." She gave Hiei a playful smile.

"/Was/? Not "I /am/ waiting for someone"?" Hiei arched a brow at her, "So you found the one you're after but have yet to tell anyone? Is that why you ran off for a month?"

Kokoro tossed her head back and laughed. Kai skipped a head a little, jumping over the cracks in the sidewalk. "That would be a kick wouldn't it?" She snorted. "All that time waiting only to find out that my lover is a human. Nah." She shook her head. "If I found someone, I'd be back in Hell. So, good guess."

That sound...it made him tilt his head just a bit in interest, but he continued to watch Kai, "That conclusion was only a rough idea. It is not like I uncovered every one of your secrets or know every part of you. I am confident that with the new events that are coming up, that we will be spending plenty of time together regardless of whether or not you want to stay hidden. There's a time for games and a time for seriousness and I know you know this." Somehow. She just didn't seem the type to turn tail and run and be an ignorant girl instead of an adult if it was something that definitely needed her attention.

"No, but if wanted to, you could." Kokoro replied and Kai stopped his jumping and just started walking like normal. A few times he would glance back to make sure that the two adults were still ambling behind him. She was still grinning at the small conversation. "So, are you /asking/ why I left for a month, not interested, or are you still trying to come up with a reasonable guess?"

"Was it important?" Was his response, "I don't care besides, unless you want to tell me then I won't stop you." He could ask her a multitude of questions to guess why, from 'did she leave because of Kuroi?' to 'did she run away from her duties'? but honestly, it didn't matter because she was here now.

"No, it wasn't important." Kokoro laughed again. he was different than what she remembered, and that was okay. That was more than okay. It just drove it home that she wasn't going to mix him up with anyone, and was free to do as she pleased. "Has anyone told you that your eyes look like holly berries? I keep thinking that for some reason and I have /no/ idea why."

"Kerica, the mate to Yusuke's oaf of a friend, has compared them to rubies before, as she said Kurama's were like emeralds. She has Earth abilities, though, so I wrote it off as her way of associating things with her powers," Hiei shrugged, "Holly berries...I would imagine my sisters eyes being more festive in that sense. She is an Ice Maiden, after all."

"Alanah." Kokoro murmured, so she's here too. "So a red candle then." She continued as if she hadn't been interrupted. "That'd make more sense. Fire's really pretty on a red candle. Agh! Why am I so freaking nervous?!" She demanded as she rubbed her hands on the side of her thighs. "It's not like you're about to murder me or something!"

Kai stopped walking and looked back at Kokoro's exclamation. Noting that she was rubbing her palms on her side, he came back and held onto her hand. His eyes nervously darting between Hiei and Kokoro.

Hiei was confused, "I don't know why, either. No, I'm not going to murder you." He shook his head and there was a long pause of silence before he spoke again, "I do like that description, better, however. I do wield fire, so it makes more sense so say my eyes are like a red flamed candle."

"Hmm." Kokoro smiled brightly as she pushed her hair back away from her face and tucked a strand behind her ear. Kai held her hand a little more tightly. "After escorting me to the temple, are you staying or are you leaving?" She asked curiously. "Or do you have to wait until I tell you I'm coming with you back to Makai?"

"Unless I have something better to do, I will be staying with the group," Hiei nodded, "I do work for Murkuro on the side and there's been issues with a territory scuffle so she might ask my help at anytime."

"I understand." Kokoro hummed lightly. "Working for two people is hard enough, when one was royalty and the other /is/ royalty, even tougher. You work really hard." She beamed. "Good thing I know a few things about stress relief." She couldn't help but to wink at him for it.

There was no reply for that last one, but he nodded to the previous, "I do work hard and get paid well for it. I have enough put away to live comfortably for the rest of my life. Of course, it gets depleted during the human Holidays because the rest of my group enjoys celebrating. I don't understand it, even after all these years. I find it pointless and useless...but it makes my sister smile so I indulge her."

"You have a little-sister complex don't ya?" Kokoro teased. "I'm an Old Traditionalist, so my holidays aren't so filled with buzz. Though I do admit I'll cave in during Christmas and New Years."

"Fudge and cookies!" Kai beamed, finally speaking for the first time. "She makes fudge and cookies."

"Fudge is good," Hiei agreed, ignoring the question about the sister complex, and he glanced down at Kai, "You are a shy one, aren't you?"

Kai's cheeks turned a bright pink and hid himself a little closer to Kokoro's legs. That was an answer in itself. "A little." He said, keeping himself from mumbling. He knew it was a pet peeve for someone not to speak up. Hana hated it.

Hiei chuckled just a bit and returned his attention to Kokoro, "Natsuki will be glad to know you weren't jumping off of some sort of Bridge of Courage that Masanori was talking about. He almost pulled out chucks of hair from his head."

"Damn." Kokoro snapped her fingers. "Should've totally jumped off the bridge, just to give him a heart attack." Kai's grip was a bit tight. 'Don't worry, I wouldn't let you drown or jump with me." She told the boy. "It's for people who are stupid and think their swimming skills can keep them above water."

"Why do you torture him? I see now he has a reason to be so upset if you do it on purpose knowing how he'll react," Hiei frowned, "Is it a game?"

"A bit of one." Kokoro shook her head. "It's my fault really, so I do try to keep the death risks to a minimum if I can. I died in front of him once, you see, back when he was a kid. He got...well...scared. Even when he found out that all that happened was that I reverted back to a child, he started to be as over protective me as he possibly could. I was a bad friend, but he knows that I don't do most of the things I do that causes him stress on purpose."

That puzzle piece landed in place and he hummed in acknowledgement, "That makes a lot more sense now. Still, you should apologize to him since it's been a month."

"I will." Kokoro smiled warmly and they continued on to the temple.

YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 Empty
PostSubject: Re: YYH Fate's Plan 2.0   YYH Fate's Plan 2.0 EmptySun Dec 13, 2015 1:39 am

"Tadaima!" Kokoro shouted as she slid the door open to the main room. It was clear that she was happy that she was wearing tights, otherwise she wasn't able to /slide/ her way in. The glamor on Kai wore off, to a young humanoid looking fox.

"Kaa-san!" Kai ran over to his mom and fell into her lap.

"Hey!" Hana beamed as she picked up Kai and set him gently on her lap. Masanori disappeared back into the kitchen to get two more cups of tea, one extra sweet for Kai. "Welcome back home." She beamed. "Thanks for finding her."

"Kokoro!" Natsuki was standing on his feet, glass safely on the table, and he rushed over to her. He wrapped his arms around her and lifted her up to spin her around, "You're safe! I'm so happy!" he set her back down and kissed her cheek, "I was so worried! Why don't you ever tell anyone where you are? Do you /like/ seeing me like this?"

"I like that I matter so much to you." She replied, hugging him tightly. "Gomenasai. I never meant to hurt you." She murmured softly in his ear and also returned the kiss on her cheek. "I needed a vacation." She beamed. "My god, Natsuki, did you really try to rip out your hair?" She started smothering down the hair that was still upright and spiky from his previous tight trip.

Masanori watched the interaction with a slight pang in his heart. Oh...of course. That is a classic love story after all. The bodyguard and the princess. It was practically a trope let alone a cliche. He should have expected that, really.

"Hello, Kokoro." Kurama greeted, making the young princess spin around to face him. Kuronue was right, if she hadn't died, she would've looked older, but at this very moment nothing about her was different. Her green eyes were still bright and mischievous, and her red-red hair was still shoulder legenth and filled with volume. The only thing that changed was her opinion on what Humans would think was sexy. Of course, she was still wearing something that a lot of the people would scowl at. "It's been a long time since I last saw you."

"Uncle Kayden...I mean, Uncle Kurama!" Kokoro beamed brightly. "It /has/ been a long time! Wow. I never thought I'd see you in human form."

"Kayden?" Kurama pretended to look aghast. "Wait a minute, I thought I was Luthor."

"You're too pretty to be a Luthor so I had to change names." Kokoro replied back. "But wow..." She looked at him up and down. "It's like you haven't changed at all, but you changed so much my head's spinning."

"Kayden?" Yusuke mouthed to Ryoko. She was the only one he could think of that had any idea of what Kokoro was sprouting off.

Ryoko could only shrug, "I remember...Kuroi telling me one time they got older, maybe tweens? Kokoro randomly called her Evelyn. She never called me a strange name, though."

"Weird..." Yusuke wondered what was with the names. And why didn't Kokoro call out Ryo's weird name? Did Hiei have one?
"You also brought David...I mean Yusuke with you." Kokoro turned around to face Yusuke, a bright smile on her face. "Nice to meet you."

Well he had one. Was that some sort of joke or was it...he didn't want to think to hard about it. "Yo."

"There we have it," Natsuki's blue eyes rolled back, "Te gang's back in order aren't they? At least Kurama kind of knows what the hell you mean." At that comment the other redhead narrowed his eyes suspiciously at him but he just glanced around. If Koko slipped with absolutely everyone she met except for Ryo, then had she slipped with Hiei? Mm...no, she had said once she vowed not to, even if it was a high temptation. He hadn't witnessed it but she more than likely also called Hana and Masa by theirs. Ryo she had told him she didn't because of the whole lady-in-waiting thing and he understood that one 100 percent because he was a bodyguard and protection was a big thing.

Ryo... /'Uh-Oh...'/ he whispered mentally to Kokoro. Ryo had paled, which made her look nearly translucent as she already had pale skin. She also looked faint. Her eyes said she recognized the name, but they also screamed confusion like a neon sign. /'Their blocks are the worst like your father said they would be...'/ he added.

Kokoro's smile faltered. "I suppose so." She took a breath. "So, Hiei told me that you spent ages searching all around looking for me."

"You must have lived forever if you're mixing up names." Yusuke snorted, but looked over at Ryoko in concern. Kokoro's lips pursed tightly against her mouth. "But you had it right the second time. And yes, we spent /hours/ looking for you!"

"That may or may not be far from the truth," Hiei answered Yusuke, giving just the /barest/ of hints to the redheaded woman before going to sit next to Kurama, "Like I told her, it took you all a really long time but I found her easily."

Hana laughed lightly to herself while Kokoro was giving Hiei a scrutinizing look. "So, anyway..." She took a breath. "Why do you need me to help you?"

"Well, Botan's supposed to bring us a file to describe why we needed you in the first place." Yusuke pointed out. "But, she isn't here. So basically, I think it has something to do with the rebellion."

"But that's your district." Kokoro replied teasingly. "How is that in my jurisdiction?"

"Because your the mighty Princess and we all have to bow down before you?" Yusuke shrugged, "Fuck if I know."

"Probably because the Rebellion has something to do with another person." Kokoro's shoulders slumped. Fate was being really cruel now. Of course this was why everyone was reborn. "Will Botan know where to find you?"

"God I hope so, because I am /not/ traveling back until we got everything smoothed out." Yusuke groaned.

"Perhaps it would be a good idea to return to the Fundir Mansion so Kuroi and Kuro can hear this?" Ryo offered softly.

Kai looked displeased and turned to Kokoro. "You going?"

Kokoro looked at Kai and walked over to him and bent down to his level. "Remember how I told you that sometimes I'll leave randomly and by my own design?" He nodded. "Well, I have to leave but this time I'm not sure when I'll come back. I'll visit when I can, if I can." She reached out and gently scratched Kai's ear. "When I do, we'll jump off of Courage Bridge together hm?"

"Promise?" Kai begged.

"All my heart." Kokoro swore.

"Hana, she's turning my nephew into Daredevil." Masanori groaned. "Make it stop."

"Kokoro does as she pleases, obviously, and Hana can't stop it," Nat walked back over to grab his tea and he finished it off, "This really was great tea," he said and flashed a smile at Masanori, "I hope I can enjoy it again soon. Summer's still going strong."

"Visit back any time." Masanori smiled warmly at Natsuki. "I really enjoyed your company."

/'OOoooooh! Does someone have a /cruuuuush/?'/ Kokoro's eyes glinted as she telepathically sent that message to Natsuki.

It was so, so hard to resist sticking his tongue out at her like a child, /'Maybe I do! What's it to you? You keep eyeballing Hiei. Is he...?'/

/'Yes'/, Kokoro glanced over at Hiei. /'But he doesn't remember me and that's okay.'/

"HOOOMMMMEEEE!" Kokoro shouted as she climbed out of the lake and hit the mansion at the fastest pace that she could, "Ma! Pa! I'm BAAAACCCKKKK!!"

/This/ time Yusuke had did the bubble thing that Ryo had talked about using and hadn't fallen into the lake like he had last time. "Jeez..." he watched Kokoro disappear into the mansion,. "Whatever I was expecting, it wasn't that."

"Let's go inside," Ryo grinned as she came up beside him, grabbing his hand and pulling him forward with a giggle, "I bet Kuroi's chore should be done by now." Her demeanor had changed and she was a lot more perky and relaxed.

Yusuke was really glad to see her change from the soft, not-really speaking Ryoko to the happy one that he had gotten used to know. He followed Ryoko along with the others and they walked into the mansion. Kuronue was coming down the stairs, his hair long and flowing and part of his chest clearly covered in love bites. "You managed to find the ever elusive Princess." Kuronue congratulated, "Now whatever it is can be solved."

Kurama had to roll his eyes. He forgot that Kuronue didn't have a clue what "modest" meant, and didn't care about any marks left on him by his lovers. He was displaying Naia's marks quite proudly. At least if he was with a whore he would at least make a /bit/ of an effort to cover it up. "Sorry, should we have delayed our arrival so you'd have more time?" Kurama asked a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Only if you came by three minutes earlier." Kuronue shrugged. "Other than that, you came by just in time."

Ryo wrinkled her nose at Kuro playfully, "You've been disappearing a lot lately. Have we something you wish to share with your newly found friend?" she coaxed.

Kurama raised an eyebrow and Kuronue laughed. "Oops. I forgot." He turned to Kurama. "Naia's pregnant. Three months."

"No." Kurama laughed in shock. "That's half-way! She's lucky not to be showing all that much! Congratulations."

"Thanks." Kuronue's chest puffed in pride. "It's rare for a Fundir to have two children, but I'm hoping to hit jackpot and the baby's a boy. That'll /really/ get her ancestors rolling in their graves."

"They're rolling in their graves already, knowing that she's pregnant twice." Kurama shook his head, grinning bright.

Hiei smirked a bit in spite of himself, "Fate's been kind to you, Kuronue." Was his form of congrats.

"Thanks." Kuronue beamed bright.

"Boy Kuroi's going to have fun, I bet." Yusuke whistled. "She's finally a big sister."

"I sure will have fun!" Kuroi bounded down the stairs finally behind her father, "Otou-san I'm done!"

"Good." Kuronue beamed. "They managed to find Kokoro. I think she's still bugging Naia."

"I'm back." Kokoro skipped a few steps down the stairs and landed on both of her feet. "Hey Kuroi! I heard you fucked up a heist!"

Kuroi tensed, "Yes! Yes I did now drop it. I'm not proud of it but Ryo's okay now."

"The living area sounds like a good place to go so we can all sit comfortably and discuss the slave trade that Ryo was thrown into," Natsuki pointed out.

"And someone called Hageshi?" Hiei added, though his eyes narrowed when Kuronue's shoulders straightened at the name.

Kuronue bit his tongue, he could ask where Hiei heard that name later. "Yeah, living room." He agreed and lead them into the area. Kurama and Yusuke both took their spots on the couch, Kuronue took the seat across from them. Kokoro found a spot near a window sill and sat down underneath it.
