YYH AU Dream

The carriage rode up to the remote part of town that still looked like the feudal era of Japan. Mainly because this was the Red Light District and no one wanted to touch it to renovate it or to build shops here for fear of bad luck. For some, they preferred it this way, since it was like stepping through time and they were breaking away from reality.

Ryoko certainly felt like she was going through time as the carriage stopped in front of what she could only assume was a house, because it had two stories and looked a bit different than the rest of the buildings. Biting her lip, she flinched as the carriage door snapped open.

"Get out," the man hissed at her and she was tugged out harshly, her long hair flying around her as she was more or less dragged to the door. She managed to collect herself as he knocked, and not a moment later a slightly older woman answered. Ryo bit her lip as the woman regarded her, sighed, and gave the man a small bag before taking her. Her touch was a lot gentler, and she watched the man storm off.

"Come, dear, let's get you a change of clothes so you can go to bed. I had your room arranged for you. You'll be bunking with Kokoro," she said as she placed her hand on the small of Ryoko's back and led her upstairs, "So, tell me of yourself. You may call me Ka-san. The other girls do."

"I had a sister..." Ryoko sniffed and quickly wiped away her tears.

"I see...was she of age?"

"Yes...but she had short hair."

The old woman regarded her, "I'm sure that's why they chose you instead. Long hair is regarded more favorably and they felt as if you'd get them more 'bang for their buck' as the saying goes."

"I was also adopted because my sister's human and I'm a demon," Ryoko explained.

Ka-san snorted, "Of course. What type?"

"V-Vampire..." Ryoko looked down at her feet as Ka-san opened the door. Inside was a redheaded woman who had white streaks through her hair and bright green eyes.

"Koko, you don't mind sharing a little blood now and then, do you?" Ka-san asked her.

Kokoro was a beautiful woman. Her red hair was long and easily braided. Her white streaks stood out on her pale frame. Her green eyes were a beautiful shade of jade as she looked at Ryoko. Some would think that she was a foreigner since her hair was the color of a rose. She looked at Ryoko up and down. Her hair was black, jet and beautiful that went down to her waist. If it had an updo, Kokoro could picture her being someone that would get plenty of customers.

But there was an innocence to her that Kokoro didn't like. She hated it when people sold others, innocent and carefree, because the environment, depending on who was training her, could ruin her for a long time. That wasn't to say that she wasn't strong. Kokoro could feel her energy buzzing, causing the hair on her skin to go up. She wasn't terrified of it, she seen worse. Been through worse. "I don't mind." She said. "Konichiwa, I'm Kokoro. It's nice to meet you." She nodded her head at her, a smile on her lips. "Don't be shy, I don't bite." She assured.

"No...but I do..." Ryo bit her lip.

"I'm going to leave Ryoko in your care, Kokoro. Your first student. I think you'll be good for each other, what being both demons," Ka-san shrugged, "You'll know her better than the others would. It's bedtime, though, so you can start her on the basics tomorrow, the dos and don'ts. For now, just get the poor thing out of these rags." she picked at the torn and dirty dress, sighed, and turned, "Good night, girls. Sleep well. I'll see you at breakfast...Ryo, can you even eat human food?"

"Y-Yes," Ryo nodded and watched as Ka-san left, closing the door behind her. This is where she finally broke down, wrapping her arms around herself as tears began falling. She wasn't wanted. She'd been abandoned because she was different and now she'd been tossed aside because she paid better than her sister would thanks to her looks. A sob left her and it all just came apart as she slid against the wall to her knees.

"Oh darling," Kokoro got up from the bed and walked over to her. She gently put her arms around the girl, noting how cold her skin was. She probably couldn't even feel the chill. She brought her close to her arms and rocked her a bit. "Shhh. You have me." She cooed. "I know I'm not good for anything, but it's okay." She pulled away. "I know you bite, I just said it's alright if you have some of my blood. I don't know how well it'll mix with you, but it's better than nothing I'm sure." She ran her fingers down her hair, trying to keep her calm. "It's not fair that you were abandoned, but I promise you Ryo that it's not going to happen from me."

"You can't promise that," Ryo sobbed harder, "Everyone's lives differently and go different paths. Your gorgeous. Your debt will be paid and you can leave. I likely will stay here forever because I never wanted to sell my body to men looking for pleasure. I wanted to save myself. It's been a month since Ryoko had arrived from wherever she had came from. Kokoro still didn't know too many details about her friend's life, but that was okay. Kokoro enjoyed teaching her the finer arts. It always surprised her to know that Ryo didn't know certain things here and there, but had to constantly remind herself that she had been in the same position not too long ago.

Her fears of abandonment still pestered though. They were still at the edge of her mind, sweetly telling her that she was going to be left behind. Kokoro did her best to shoo that voice away, but sometimes she couldn't do anything at all.

Right now, Kazuki, the other older girl who did patrols with Kokoro, was trying to teach Ryoko more exotic dances and how to /mix/ that with strip-teasing, since both of them were really good at it. Kazuki was a beautiful woman who had white hair that long to her mid back, braided and goregeously held by chopsticks that had a dragonfly charm at the end. Her skin was pale, smooth and white and her gold eyes was like lightening in a snow storm. Her kimonos were soft blues or dark silvers. Sometimes she wore dark royal blue with silver. "I didn't bring this up before since I was sure it didn't matter...but in the short time I've been here...my opinions have changed," Ryoko admitted to them, looking up, her sapphire eyes dancing between aquamarine and peridot, "M-My birthday is on the fifth...just four days from now, since it's the first of June now."

"Really? How old are you going to be?" Kokoro asked. "I don't know my birthday." She was smiling at Ryoko kindly. "We should do something."

"What can we do?" Kazuki asked, looking at Kokoro. "It's not like we can take her out and walk. People who are her regulars will see her and her reputation can get destroyed. Or something else could happen."

"Or we can bring in more business. We have incense that tells time. Anyone that wants to talk to us, asks for our company, we can just burn the incense." Kokoro pointed out to Kazuki.

"How are you going to get the money out of that?" Kazuki raised an eyebrow at her.

"You know, be myself." Kokoro waved it aside. "But it's her birthday. What do you want to do for it, Ryo?"

"How would my reputation get destroyed? Would it really be okay to go out? I haven't...explored around the area since arriving besides that first week to shop and I twisted my ankle." Ryo shifted nervously, "What is there to do? You know the area much better than I do."

"We'll just explore. There's not much that we can do since we're ladies of the night." Kokoro pointed out. "As for reputation, that's exactly what it is. Since we're ladies of the night, we're supposed to be confined and give out the fantasy. If our regulars see us outside our homes, they're going to think that the fantasy isn't real, that we're real people just like they are, and what good is fucking a real person? "Sorry, I forget." Kazuki gestured to Kokoro. "She's used to having her reputation destroyed on a weekly basis."

"I still get paid."

"You're still trouble."

"Well...as long as I'm with either of you I think I'll be okay. I don't care about reputation. People still come," Ryo pointed out, "I just...want to get out of the house. Get some treats. It doesn't have to be anything special, going out and doing something is enough."

(k so for next skip would obviously be her birthday and I have an idea XD hope you don't mind me playing Yusuke temporally)

"Then we'll do that." Kokoro grinned. "See Kazuki? Easy."

Kazuki just sighed as she shook her head from side to side, though amused.

Her birthday had been amazing so far. Ryoko had been greeted with a special breakfast made by Kazuki and all of the girls, including Ka-san sang her happy birthday. Ka-san gave them a little extra from the stash as well, and she Kokoro, and Kazuki were out.

She was having the time of her life just meeting new people, and when asked why she was out, and told it was her birthday, everyone she met wished her a happy one. Kokoro and Kazuki were there to mainly keep an eye on her, but she was buzzing around eagerly. She loved socializing with people, just chattering about this or that even if it was the weather or daily life. Nearly everyone she ran across ended up in a better mood by the time she was done and moved on. The sun beat down on her skin, but as long as she kept ducking under stall awnings she would be alright.

It was at the fruits stand that she heard voices that differed from the rush of people buying and selling goods around her. Looking up, she was struck dumb. There was a man who looked extremely similar to Kokoro it was scary. His blood red hair was thick and bushy at the nape, falling mid-back and he had long strips of side-hair. His eyes were darker and like emeralds, though. Next to him, only reaching his chin, was a man with short slicked-back black hair that had a green shine to it from gel, a tanned slightly darker skin tone, and milk chocolate brown eyes.

"/Really/, I don't understand why you don't just /ask/ someone," the redhead rolled his eyes.

"Do you /honestly/ think I'm going to /ask/ someone around /here/ where /that/ place is?" the black haired man asked punctuating a lot of his words. "Wait! There looks to be someone that could be from there," he had spotted her and ran over, "Hey! Could you help us?"

Ryo found herself oddly hurt at his statement. Did she...did she /look/ like a whore? Her hand went to her hair where Kokoro had did a pretty updo and down at her mint green kimono with pink carnations decorating the bottom half, bound by a white obi. She didn't have her breasts exposed like she would back at the house. She looked rather modest in her own opinion comparatively. "I-I might? What do you need?"

He stared at her, too, his mouth slightly agape and eyes wide. She stared back. He was...really handsome...and there was a pang in her chest that made her look away. Maybe...if they'd met outside of this place, she could flirt with him and not feel like she was giving the wrong impression. So she just stayed quiet.

He shook his head to jog himself from the daze he was in, furrowing his brows at the forlorn expression she had, "Uh...So, um...I'm looking for...a certain place."

"What my /friend/ is trying to get across is that he's looking for where you normally reside," the redhead appeared behind him, "He's looking to book a bachelor party on Friday before his friend gets married on Sunday."

"Friday...That's...Three days from now..." Ryo was surprised. Such short notice... "I'm bad with directions..." where was Kokoro when she needed her? "I'm out with a friend of mine from the House because it's my birthday...she could point you in the right direction."

((I was thinking Yusuke gives her some money to buy a birthday cake and for helping him. What /actually/ make him say that was her kimono since while he hasn't been there personally, he knows all the girls wear kimonos. I wanted that to be topic of drama for later-later when Ryoko's being insecure and Yusuke's confused as fuck and asks her why she thinks that way

"Oh that's cool. Happy Birthday." Yusuke grinned. "So you really are from there then? Great! Where is your friend anyway?"

"Behiiiind you?" Kokoro teased, causing Yusuke to jump. Her kimono was worn a little more immodestly which had gotten a lot of stares from both regulars and people who never been. She made sure that her obi was tied in the front instead of the traditional back and her hair was tied up high to show the nape of her neck. Also she made sure that her kimono was showing a bit more of her breasts than what was considered "polite". She giggled as she happily bounced back to Ryoko's side.

"Holy hell you two look alike." Yusuke looked between her and Kurama and back again. "You related?"

"Don't think so." Kokoro shrugged. "Sooo what's this I hear about a bachelor party?"

"A friend of mine's getting hitched." Yusuke explained to her. "We wanted to celebrate since he's getting married pretty soon. Friday's our best bet."

"I can arrange with Ka-san for the both of us to be free on Friday." Kokoro paused. "Of course, that's if you were going to request this one." She jiggled Ryoko a bit, shaking her from her shoulders. "After all, she's still learning the ropes."

"That wouldn't be a bad idea," Kurama nodded, "We were actually wondering if you'd take us there or direct us so we can make arrangements?" She was familiar. It couldn't be her, she'd been missing for at least two years. Or, it could. Who would expect their Princess to hide in such a place? He had to admire her way of thinking. "We could explain more about what we're looking for and what we want, as well."

"That makes sense. You could take them to the House while I go find Kazuki?" Ryoko looked up at Kokoro.

"Hold on." Yusuke said as he dug through his pockets. Kokoro watched in interest as Yusuke held out his hand and gestured Ryoko to take it. "For your Birthday and for thanks." He winked at her. "I really do hope that you're free. It'll be nice to see you again."

I'm going to tease her later, Kokoro thought amused, as she turned on the balls of her feet. "It's this way. You'd have a better time finding it at night since that's when we put up the lanterns. Normally people stay away from here when it's during the day. Unsavory and and not reputable for the common folk. I'm so glad that we walk around, how else would we get business besides hanging out of the window and trying to look attractive? Honestly."

Kurama chuckled as they walked away, leaving the girl in green confused and blushing madly before she ran off. They wandered through the streets, weaving in and out, and he memorized the areas for later. It didn't actually take long to get there, to his surprise. Stepping inside the House, it was really simple. Only two stories, all wood, even the doors. There were paintings on the walls for decoration, all homemade and not framed, small plaques with the names of the girls who made them.

Ka-san emerged, drying her hands with a towel, from the kitchen area and she tilted her head at Kokoro when she spoke, "Who are these young men?" she was tense.

"Customers," Kurama smiled reassuringly, "I'm sorry, you're probably not used to people coming during the day. We're actually here to make arrangements for a party."

She relaxed, "I see. Let me get my book." She disappeared into another room. She came back with a planner, and she opened it, taking a pen from behind her ear, "How many?"

"Four," Kurama nodded.

"Music? Dancing? Would you like a look through the list of girls and their specialties?" Ka-san looked up at them, "Tea and sake will be served regardless, but if you pick Flora, she's good at making tea. A fan favorite is her pomegranate green tea. Sera here is good with suggesting sake you might enjoy, as we keep a wide variety. I'll have you know, no fights and the moment you hurt any of our girls in a drunken stupor, you will be thrown out." She shook her pen at them firmly, "Lior and Sera are very good at dancing and all of the girls have a special instrument they play and work well together."

"You don't have to worry about your ladies, ma'am." Yusuke assured. "That's why we have him." He gestured at Kurama with a grin.

"They want Flora and they want me." Kokoro winked at the manager with a flirtatious smile. "So tea and sake. And as for the party itself, why not drag Lior into it? She's majestic with the harp and Flora's excellent at flute. You know me, I can play the lute pretty well I'd hope." She placed a finger on her lips. "As for a list of specialties, why don't Lior and I take over /that/? That way we have Flora free to do entertainment since I don't think /all/ the guys will want to get laid all at once."

Yusuke shook his head from side to side. "I can already count that there's probably only going to be two or three of us who'd want to get laid that night regardless. The other two aren't going to want to do it...I'd be surprised if /he/ does....but then again it might loosen him up some."

"I'd want to try my hand at that one." Kokoro grinned. "But I think other than that, Ka-san, they're all set."

"I love that you took over for us."

"I know what you want." Kokoro winked at Yusuke. "And I know how you can get it."

"I'm not too sure I'll be getting laid," Kurama gave him a firm look. They'd agreed not to use names while they were there.

"Well, none of the girls will force themselves on any of you if you don't want it," Ka-san told them, "Alright, I have everything down."

"Do we need to pay now or after the party?" Kurama asked, reaching for is pocket.

"Pay when you get here," Ka-san nodded, "Arigato, I'll see you Friday."

"Oh Kami, do you think he'll like my kimono?" Ryoko asked as she picked at the white fabric while Kokoro fixed the gold obi. It was white all except for the bottom which was black, and had white and pink flowers streaming through it, then pink and purple and yellow flowers between the black and white. She blushed as Kokoro shifted the kimono so she'd show the barest hint of her breasts, "I don't want...to do that. Can't I tease him some other way?" she bit her lip, "Shoulders instead of breasts? Showing cleavage is more...like your thing.

"You're not showing that much." Kokoro scolded. "Besides you're going to be showing your shoulders anyway since that's how I made the kimono fit. You can push it down and over with a simple roll, but I don't want you wasting that trick the /second/ you get a chance. I want you to use that trick when you think you /got/ one."

"You're trying to get a girl whose practically a virgin laid." Kazuki was highly amused. Her blue, flowery kimono was a bit on the short side this time and even though she wasn't showing any cleavage or any shoulders, her legs were her most attractive feature. "Shush, we can't jinx that." Kokoro glared at Kazuki. "Besides, I sincerely doubt he was from my clan. A) he doesn't have white streaks in his hair. B) He didn't feel like fire. C) I'm pretty sure my mom would tell me if she had an illegitimate child before dad showed up."
